Thursday, May 31st     

Dawn to Dusk - Arrivals, flying and rides given at pilot’s discretion.

5:30 to 7:00   Welcome dinner a the EAA Hangar on the field for pilots and guests.

Friday, June 1st  

Dawn to Dusk - Arrivals, flying and rides given at pilot’s discretion.

12:00 to 1:00  Abilene Aviation Wing of EAA 1364 sponsored lunch fly out.

    Kick the tires, light the fires and fly 20nm on a 241 heading                        to the Abilene Airport, K78, Unicom 122.8.

1:00 to 3:00   Visits to the Eisenhower Center, Seelye Mansion and other Abilene historic sites.

6:00 to 7:30  Brats and Beer on the field.

9:20 pm   End of civil twilight.  Freeman Field Closes to aircraft operations.  

For the safety of attendees Freeman Field will be closed Friday evening at 9:20 pm, end of civil twilight, and reopen Saturday morning at 5:30 am, beginning of civil twilight.  These few hours of darkness will be the only time Freeman Field is closed to aircraft operations during the National Biplane Fly In.

Saturday, June 2nd 

5:30 am     Freeman Field opens for aircraft operations.

7:00 to 10:00   Pancake Breakfast - Kansas Air Center Hangar

8:00 to 3:00   Plane Talk Airshows flightline announcers - Sponsored by Kansas Aircraft Center

1:00   Registration closes for aircraft judging.

2:00 to 4:00  Ice Cream Fly Out to Prairie Cottage Airport (8KS8)

- CHECK DENSITY ALTITUDE -  For South Departure we recommend paved RWY 18/36 3,495'.

 Kick the tires, light the fires and fly 11nm south west to Jim & Debby Clarks private strip for Ice Cream. Prairie Cottage Unicom 122.8.

Enjoy the time on the field, take the free shuttle into town or back to your hotel to get your feet up.  Definitely plan to be back for the dinner this evening.

6:00   Social hour at the Armory

7:00   Dinner, awards and hangar flying at the Armory adjacent to the Terminal building. 

Sunday, June 3rd 

7:00  Coffee, Juice and Muffins available on the field for departing Pilots and Crews.
